Tingalpa Mowers is a locally owned and family run business, we offer sales and repair services for all brands of outdoor power equipment for the general public, contractors and business in the area and beyond.
With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, we take pride in our ability to service all our customers outdoor power equipment needs.
We offer friendly service and take pride in making sure our customers’ needs are met, whether that is to do a quick repair to get them back on the job, full service or selling them new equipment.
We offer a pickup and delivery service for Ride on Mowers (rate dependent on distance).
Steve, Nara, Victor & Neil bring a broad wealth of knowledge to the team. With many years of experience and qualifications in small engine and automotive mechanics, plus mower parts and equipment sales and service – we have you covered!
Steve is all over the retail and service side, Nara has all your accounts in order, Victor’s passion is diagnostics and he loves getting the challenging ride-ons back to tip top condition, whilst Neil sweats out all the small stuff with ease – looking after your mowers, chainsaws, hedgers, snippers, and the like.

Thanks heap to Steve and team sorting me out a new engine just before Christmas! Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful crew.My old Briggs 25hp pro series threw a rod after 413hrs. Even if others call these Rato engines "Chondas" (Chinese Hondas), this thing looks, sounds and feels more refined. It starts instantly, its a lot quieter on the same muffler and certainly feels like it has more torque and doesnt stall on thicker grass like my briggs. New crankshaft and rod for the briggs was going to cost me almost as much as this engine which is a bargain with 25hp/57Nm rating.The team were able to provide replacement options like the Kawasaki FR691V or Honda GX690, but this Rato is a beaut of a recommendation. Apparently these engines last well over 1000hrs, i'd be happy for it to last 500hrs+ at this price point as it also only took a mere 30mins to install it on my Ferris IS600.

UPDATE: new owners September 2024.Welcome Steve and Nara. Thanks heaps for getting our old bomb going in record time- ya legends🤎. Great work, fair price and knowledgeable service.Mick has looked after our ride on mower for 8 years. Despite us crashing it, riding it on rough terrain and knowing nothing about engines, Mick has rescued us and got our old Craftsman back on the job many times. The free pickup and drop off is a real value-add as we’re old and couldn’t get the beast to the shop without that assistance. Mick is the most honest and talented mechanic we’ve ever known and his pricing is transparent and fair. The testimony to Mick’s work is that he is always flat out so we have to be patient with the turnaround times. But it’s worth the wait.

I took my old victa mower here due to it surging. The guys did an excellent job maintaining the mower - it was in need of a lot of TLC. They did everything they said they would do. It took a couple of weeks but they said it take that long anyways and I was happy with that. Pricing was appropriate. They obviously take pride in their work.

Excellent service, as good as it gets really. Old school style service that cannot be beat and is nearly impossible to find.I cannot speak highly enough of my experiences so far, I bought a mower here and have recently had my brushcutter serviced and I will be going back here for all my lawn/landscaping gear servicing and purchasing as long as I'm in Brisbane, good advice as well with no bias. I am not a lawn maintenance expert. I maintain my own yard but I and am not good at maintaining my equipment.In the last few months I have used these guys to repair my old mower and whipper snipper. Both items I thought were beyond repair. They were fixed at a reasonable price.Have also recently purchased a petrol powered blower. Good quality at a good price.They are also good for advice. I highly recommend them.
